LANGAR ON CAMPUS
INSIGHT EVENINGS
Every year, we run our flagship event: a Langar on campus in the Summer term, open to everyone. The Guru ka Langar is our largest event and helps us engage with students across the university. It brings awareness to the Sikh community and demonstrates charity as one of its core values. We also work with charities including Nishkam SWAT to serve London communities in need of support.
Aiming to support personal development in the community, we organise regular career panels with external speakers. This includes a panel we hosted on Sikhs in Finance, and this year we are looking to expand the panels into different industries. Last year we were proud to host MP Preet Kaur Gill as well as MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi for a talk and discussion, open to all university students.
